Mixing with pro audio 9

Is mixing with pro audio 9 efficient? Can the problem of only having one pointer be sidestepped by using subgroups or whatever? Can different mixer settings be saved and programed to take effect in different parts of a song? Example: you have one part of a song where the faders and settings are set one way but then you need to change the settings of alot of tracks in a really short time.
 
You can automate a mix and you can group faders, as well as edit pans and volumes, etc. Didn't you get a manual?
 
Onscreen mixers are almost never too great to mix with, partly due to the limitations of the mouse. Using groups and automation, though, you should be able to get pretty much anything done that you need done.

monty: the nature of the question would suggest that he was trying to decide whether or not he wanted to buy it or not, hence, he doesn't have a manual yet :)
