I am trying to mixdown some tracks in Cakewalk and I want to apply effects (such as reverb, compression, delay, etc.) and graphic eq to the mix. Should effects be added before or after compression? Should the compressed/effected mix be eq'd? What's the general order for doing this in a digital environment?
