How to delete measure in CW???

this is really dumb question but I really don't know how to delete a measure of all tracks (which is blank after I cut or delete something) out in Cakewalk 8?

Select a region by time, then select all the tracks you want this delete to affect. Then Select Edit/Delete. You will be asked if you want to "delete hole" or not. This gives you the option of replacing the measure(s) with something else or joining the stuff on either side of the cut together.
