O esteemed Cakewalkers - a question from the cheap seats:
Does it ever happen that, just after you click on the record button, the program freezes so that if you don't notice it, you're playing and singing away and nothing's being recorded? If the answer's always no, I may be joining you in the not too distant future.

Hehehe, it happenned 2-3 time when I was recording a singer this weekend. I don't know if it's me that pressed the space bar instead of "R" or the program that is stupid, but I would start the "tape", the singer would sing, then when the cut is done, ooopsy there's no waveform appearing on my screen. Then I would be like: "Let's try it one more time, it's still lacking something" instead of saying I lost the recording

Dobro : Not since I got my buffers configured correctly. I also defrag regularly and perform clean audio disk after clearing projects . . . with this, smooth sailing.
DropD : The only times that happens with me is when I A ) Push play instead of record or
B ) forget to arm the track for Audio instead of MIDI.
