Export to wave

Does anybody know why, when I export to wave, and then open in Soundforge, my signal strength drops to almost nothing???

Please help!

This could be because the level setting on the track your exporting in set very low. Cakewalk interprets this as the overall volume of the WAV and can decrease the volume when exporting to Soundforge.

Typically the track should be set to 127, and when ou export it, the level of the WAV should be the same in Soundforge as in Cakewalk.

yeah. set the track volume to 127. mind you it matters not. just boost/normalise the audio signal in the wav editor your using
