DXI slitely ahead

my dxi drums..play slightly ahead of all my other music

including the metronome

is there a logical reason for this?

Hmmm... which Dxi are you using and which drum samples? How is your latency set? Have you installed the plug-in patch AFTER the current DXI or DXi version you are using was installed?
Perhaps you play everything a bit behind the click, and you are quantizing the drums and its bringing them tight to grid and a little ahead of all your other tracks?
Just some ideas I have, I cant really say, never had that problem. My DR-008 plays drums perfectly after the plug-in patch. It played them late before the patch, during busy passages.
Post your fix when you find it.

im using DR-008 Dxi2 - smart loops dry studio kit

it is for sure off..

if i put in a kick drum on every beat.

and push record with the metronome going

the two will not be synchronized.

Go download the plug-in patch, and keep it on CD, as you'll need it every time you install something new or re-install. Only takes like 10 seconds to load it.
I'll bet it fixes your problem. If not, post back.
