dropouts!!!

does anonyone know how to get rid of the drop outs?!?

ive defragmented my k7800 512ram winxp 20gb computer...
still get some!

When are you getting them? Recording? Audio or midi, What typ of card are you using? How far can you go before it drops out? Does it have to do with the number of tracks?

Go into your cake walk program and go into audio and there you will find your buffers ,they may be set to 64 by default you can change them to 128 and that should help on your audio play back ,i know it did on mine Zad
 
Drop Outs

I hate them as well...they pop up when I use plugins.
There isn't a whole lot you can do about it.
If you are not using plugins. Check you settings under audio options and slow your play back buffer down...
