copying Sonar projects to laptop..

Hi All..

I'm using Sonar 4, and is in the process of mixing a demo album for my band, next week I have to go away on a business trip, and I was thinking that I would use those lonely nights at the hotel room mixing and editing the tracks before going home on my main system and finish these mixes..

Is there anyone in here that has experience with removing full projects from the desktop to a laptop, doing some editing, and then take the project back on the desktop with all the changes and then fish it off..? Is it possible at all..?

I'm thinking that I have to go the "consolidate audio tracks" way, that I normally use for backing up, and if I install the plugins in the same library as on the desktop there should be no problem, or what..?!

If you use per project audio folders you can just burn the projects (with folders) plus you picture cache to DVD's and copy them onto your laptop. If all the settings are the same and the same plugins are installed this is fairly easy. I have done it many times.
