Compatible software

I use Sonar 2 on a pc, and a friend who lives out of town uses some other Cakewalk program but has an Apple computer.
Would the two programs be compatible for sharing bundles? Or would they both have to be either an Apple or pc?

AFAIK, Cakewalk does not produce any programs for a Mac.

That's interesting. The guy said he uses a Cakewalk program on his Apple computer.
Apparently he's mistaken.
Thanks!

isn't there a program you can get for apple that allows you to run windows programs on it? although there are many glitches with this, maybe he is doing this?

FYI: Not any longer, but they did.

Cakewalk Metro. Had it myself.

You can share sound files with any program. Macs will read and write .wav files just fine. You just won' be able to share plug-ins or tracks.

There are several PC emulator programs for the Mac. Virtual PC is the one I've seen. I have no idea if it would run cakewalk, but it's possible.
