I tried that once with a SB Card and Gina. Although it did record the tracks, they were not sync'd together. One set of audio tracks was dragging (or delayed) behind the other set.

2. Can you install two full-duplex soundcards and record four tracks at once using cakewalk pro audio8? I know the inputs aren't the best, but just wondering.

Thanks,

Ld

I haven't tried it myself, but i don't see why not. I have a 2044 and a SB 16 (i do not use this to record) and if i leave both drivers installed cakewalk give me a choice to mix and match my input sources.

It won't work, but it's not Cakewalk's fault. The two sound cards have independent clocks and unless one has a hardware sync input and the other a sync output, no program in the world can keep them together.
