cakewalk 6.0 audio file .wrk to burn

Ive recorded my song onto the hard drive using Cakewalk Pro 6.0 and it is saved as a .wrk file. I was wondering how to change the file extension so i can burn using Adaptec easy cd creator. When i go into Adaptec it says only .wav files can be recorded. Im very new to this. If someone could tell me step by step or throw out tips on how to burn this song, that would be great.

not quite sure about version six, but you should be able to mixdown or export the audio to a wave file, which you can then burn. A wrk file doesn't actually hold the audio, it contains a pointer to where the audio is actually being stored

That's correct. IN CW 6 You have to use the Export to .wav command. Load some audio in a track or tracks, then:
File/Utilities/Export Audio to Wav
