altering the pitch whell range in S2XL?

Good morning. How can I alter the pitch wheel range in sonar 2 so that I can draw in a controler and be able to bend a note more than the default +- 8691 (or whatever it actually is)...and by the way what does that value really mean. Seems to me increments by 1/2 step would have been easier.

Also is there a way I can snap the line tool (or pencil) to 0 or other values when I draw in controllers like wheel and volume so that I can zero out a controller after the bend. Thanks a lot.

The values set by the pitch wheel is just that: Values. ;)

It's the synth who decides the range of the pitchbend...

so....

hmmm, so if sonar is sending data out to my x3r synth and sonar has a pitch contoller from 0 ^ max and the global bend in the x3r is set to 12 steps then it will bend 12 steps and if its only set to 2 steps then it will bend 2 steps... what about when I run sound fonts thru LSpro, will I have to change a setting in the .sf2 in vienna?
thanks for the reply..

I think so, since LSPro doesen't have a "pitch-controll".
