Hi all,
Please Help. I have been struggling with the multimix 8 firewire for some time now.
I gave up trying to get it to work on my Vista Laptop so when over to desktop PC with Windows XP PRO (Service Pack 3). Finally it worked and drivers were installed and can play sounds through it.
The issues I have are as follows:
1. In the control panel, if I change the sample rate, the PC reboots automatically.
2. Trying to use Audacity (1.3 Beta) and when the multimix is connected Audacity simply will not start.
I intend to try Cubase soon to see if that works and maybe accept a compatibility issue between Audacity and Multimix.
The Alesis Driver I have is v3.5.3.8671
My PC spec is:
1.6GHz AMD Athlon Processor
111GB Hard Drive
1GB RAM
WINDOWS XP (Service Pack 3)
Belkin Firewire card (6Pin)
