Hey guys, so i just brought the Alesis m1 active mk2 speakers the other day, all i need now in a soundcard. I was thinking of going for the m audio audiophile external soundcard, just cos its cheap, and my budget is low. Buuuut, i also have a line 6 x3 pod, which i use to record guitar. would it be possible to use this as a soundcard? or would it be best to buy an external soundcard instead?

    cheers guys.

It would definitely be worth getting a new eternal card. Something like a Focusrite Scarlett for around 120 would be perfect, as gives you plenty of options going forward as well as helping you get a great sound straight away
