Sitar(ish) sound with 6-string Bass & Ableton Suite 8.3.3

Have been experimenting with approximating a sitar-type of sound using Audio Effects in Ableton Suite 8.3.3, using my Ibanez 6-string bass, and did a quick improve when I found a nice sound combination using "Simple Delay" (Audio Effects>Simple Delay) and "Intimate & Colorful" (Audio Effects Rack>Tone and Color>Intimate & Colorful).
I have a lot more adjusting, but I liked the sound and recorded a quick little improv to test it out for a couple of minutes:

I really enjoyed listening to this DoobieBrother. Sounds a very nice recording, and a very nice sound. Have you done anything more? Thanks for sharing.
 
I can still hear its a guitar but the extra harmonics are a nice effect....I think for a sitar is just needs more in the higher register, that almost random high notes a sitar produces, not sure how you would get that effect
