setting up ableton 8 with m-audio fast track sound card

Can anyone please help?

Have read the instructions on ableton 8 tutorials but I'm getting stuck at first hurdle.

I have an external sound card (m-audio) but there is no driver type for it other than mme direct x, which is the only one that lists my sound card in the input and output boxes? The sound card is working otherwise. What do I do? Please help a technophobe...

Hi hetixo,

Have you tried the M-Audion site? But note, some products are still covered by Avid.com and drivers are from their site despite being shown on the M-audio site.
