One track to the left and the second to the right... possible??

Hi,

I bought an M-Audio fast track pro sound interface which included LIVE as a boundle; both has been great but now I'm trying to do something and I would appreciate some advise.

The M-Audio has two 1/4 inputs and I want to record one guitar on input 1 and a second guitar (with my teacher) on input 2.

Then what I want is to record INPUT 1 to sound on the left speaker and INPUT 2 to sound on the right speaker.

Can I do that in LIVE?

You can't record an input to a speaker. You record it to a track and then pan it to one side or the other. However, if you can set LIVE up to record a stereo track instead of two mono ones it will probably do what you want by default, putting input 1 on the left and input 2 on the right.
