How to Transfer "Application" to VST folder

I've managed to set up some good plugins like Melodyne, and Addictive Keys on my MAC, and can't seem to transfer them over to my VST folder in Ableton. Right now, they're just in the "Applications" folder. Anyone have any idea how to get them in the VST folder? Thank you very much for any advice in advance.

Not quite sure about Ableton or Macs, but in general with plugs that can run standalone, there will be a dll file that you can copy (not move) to your VST folder. I'm surprised it didn't install the requisite file for you, but then again, I'm not quite sure about Ableton or Macs.

That isn't the "exec" file, is it? in the components folder?
