N Nugagerube New member Feb 10, 2011 #1 I had ableton live 8.1.2 and i had a ton of instrument sounds and effects that didnt transfer over when i updated to ableton live 8.2.1. any ideas how to get them over there?

kcearl I see deaf people Feb 17, 2011 #2 got to preferences>file folders and direct ableton to where your library is..its should update itself

kcearl I see deaf people Feb 17, 2011 #3 best to copy the library and put the copy in another folder as once youve updated you cant roll back the version without a complete install.. sometimes there glitches in updates so best to have a back up
