I have heard of them and I have played a couple different models. They are ok guitars but they're not that terribly great for the price they are listed at. I'd choose a PRS before one new. I did find one at GC that was used for about $800 that I almost bought. For that price it's a great deal I think. But that's another down side to them, their resale is terrible because they're not a known brand.
Yeah my step bro said he played a Zion and it was "the best guitar I ever played" and for some reason it made me doubt what he was saying since hes never actually shopped or bought any of his guitars himself. He has a used Mexican Strat which is crap and a cheap Ibanez which is .. eh? ok i guess.
Ive personally never heard of Zion before and I can say Ive played a lot of different kinds of guitars.... thats what happnes when you make regular trips to guitar center just for fun. I was just curious to see if these were like the future Les Pauls like my step bro made it sound.
They kind of remind me of some Anderson guitars in alot of ways. Like I said, they are good guitars, but nothing revolutionary or stand out. The same thing so many people are doing right now. And some of them for less money and a little better features.
