This is only covering the drum pattern. I'm doing this tutorial for Ruthless and anyone else that want to gain a better perspective of creating drum patterns and change ups. This is a very simple nice pattern at 92bpm.
this site is not allowing multiple images to open up under a post so in order for the images to appear I would have to have one image to a post. I decided to put 5 which is the max to each post and just have you guys click on the image link to open up the illustration. just right click the link and select open in new window so that you can see the image and follow along with the tutorial.

if you go to my site you can follow the tutorial without having to click on image links
YOUNG GUNZ SET IT OFF TUTORIAL

open up Fl Studio and create 5 tracks and make the pattern 8 beats for every bar. follow the directions below to upload each instrument into a track
for the kick - FL Studio 6\Data\Patches\Packs\Dance\DNC_Kick
for the bass drum - FL Studio 6\Data\Patches\Packs\Vintage\VT_BD_2
for the crash - FL Studio 6\Data\Patches\Packs\RealDrumkits\RD_Crash_2
for the clap - FL Studio 6\Data\Patches\Packs\Dance\DNC_Clap_5
for the snap - FL Studio 6\Data\Patches\Packs\HipHop\HIP_Snaph

click on the notes and measures pic

now fill in all of the steps for patterns 1 - 7 like I have illustrated below

click on patterns 1-4 and see the next post for how to set up patterns 5-7

now adjust the pitch of each instrument for each pattern following the illustration. go to the patterns that I do not have illustrated below and adjust the pitch of the instrument to match the pitch in the patterns that are illustrated. I sent the clap to the piano roll for pattern 7 so that I can layer the pitch. I have a green highlight to show you where you will begin by default in FL Studio.

adjust your bass drum to give it that southern drop to go with that deep kick

click on the bass-drum setting pic

now add the reverb2 plugin to the send track by selecting view/mixer/send 1. If I remember correctly this reverb is not included in FL Studio 5 and below so you may have to use the other FL Reverb and adjust to taste

click on reverb on send - 1 pic

then send the clap, snap and crash to fx 1 by left clicking the each track in the pattern bar and selecting 1 in it's effect channel. follow the illustration to see how much reverb i'm sending to track 1

click on reverb setting pic

adjust your reverb to these settings, if you are using FL studio 5 and below and you don't have this reverb than adjust your FL reverb to taste.

click on reverb setting2 pic

now this is the finish line for this tutorial, go to your playlist window and fill in your bars with the following pattern. this will make up 8 bars which is long enough for a hook, double that and you have a verse, but that's another tutorial. this is pattern 1-7 below in song mode.

now click on song - pattern pic

here is the link to the beat. I didn't create the entire song, I just wanted to do a tutorial to help some guys out with drum programming and understanding one of the many techniques of switching up patterns in FL Studio.

Lived all over N.O. I was right off of Freret for a while now I'm out in Kenner.

Fyre, even though Wayne is from down here it's about the same as every where else. From my experience some people love him, some hate him...lol
