Thinking of using an Intel Celeron 533 mhz, 384 MB ram, 20 GB Hardrive, Sound Blaster Live Platinum card, and a small 6 channel Behringer mixer with N Tracks until I can upgrade to the Digi 001 or Emagic, what do you think the results will be like????? How many tracks do you think I will max out at???

Track count will depend on the speed of your hard drive....if its 7200rpm you should get a solid 16 tracks....if not, a second hard drive (Maxtor Diamond Max 7200 rpm, at least 20gb) would help.....also, the Celeron 533 will not get a whole lot of plugins......

I have a 500mhz Celeron with 320mb ram and a dedicated drive....with 2 compressors and 3 reverbs, I do about 16 tracks at 24bit/44.1khz.....
