Is this one of those companies that is being sued by Gibson for ripping of the LP design? They are really purdy...

There's a company like that in the UK called "indie" they make loads of guitars that look nice with fancy finishes and gold hardware, brass knobs etc. They charge £500 for some of them, and when you play 'em its like £350 worth of the fancy stuff and £150 worth of guitar.

Some of the non fancy stuff is better as they seem to have concentrated more on playability than look!!

Although they are really nice!!

Wow, I really want to try one out. Luckily, I live in the Boston area which is where they're made. If I can manage to try one, I'll post what I think about them. It looks too good to be true though =/

Hey, that would be great!

Please, try to do that if you can... we'd love to get the skinny on these things! :)

No joke. . .

I'm interested myself. I like the coil tap option. . .versatility. The headstock looks kinda dumb, though - just my opinion.

Dang, now the list of possible electric guitars that I'm interested in in the ~$500 range grows

Here it is:
Godin LG (maybe with the P-90's)
PRS SE Soapbar II
Mexican Tele
Mexican Strat
Mexican Fat Strat
Yamaha AES-620
Now these guitars look cool

I realize there are about 1000 different tonal options up there - I just can't figure out what I want. One day I think I'll use more of the jangly single coil sound - then I watch my U2 DVD and start lusting after The Edge's Explorer and Les Paul sounds. 'Course then he breaks out his Strat for "Where The Streets Have No Name" and it's about the coolest thing I've ever seen. Then any time I hear something with p-90's, I think. . .wow, cool. . . . .perhaps a line6 variax is for me? Nah, probably not.

Maybe its a good thing I don't have any money - I wouldn't know what to spend it on!

Boston is where they are set up... I don't think it says Made in Boston.
