I finally convinced the guys at the studios I am recording in to try out a C1. Who in the US has the best price, considering it really doesnt matter WHO they get it from?

I looked around here, but you cant search on C1:(.

Thanks,

I got my C1 for $199 from macmidimusic.com...(plus shipping in US)

the last time I checked, that should still be the best price... even if there's a lower price, I think the $199 price tag should be good enough for anyone! :)

$199 shipped seems to be the lowest priced advertised anywhere.....

I got mine at Tremain marketing in KC for $175 but they are out of buisness. (I jewed the guy down though).

try Russ at www.homestudiomusician.com email him and see if he can beat the $199 price. He may do that.

darrin, you jewed the guy down?

C'mon, it's 2002, babe.

Hard, try http://www.musiccenterinc.com in Kenosha. Call them up and ask for a lower price.

Websites are restricted from advertising lower than MAP, but you can buy it below that if you ask.

I found that ICB Audio in my part-time hometown of Cincinnati sells them for $199, too. Best part is that they have demo setups available so I can listen to them with different pres and such. I wish I'd found out abuot this little place years ago.
