Hey guys!

I'm currently looking for a new mic and I'm willing to spend up to $300.
The mics I already have are RODE M3, Shure PG58. What do you think would support the Rode M3 nicely?

Heres what I'm looking to record
-Acoustic guitars
-Guitar amps (Clean, distortion and the works)
-Vocals

Thanks for your help!

I was thinking a RODE NT3.
And it could be my new main microphone instead of the M3

I suppose LDC is the logical path if you want to build up variety in your locker.

How do you feel about the mics you have? That might steer your decision.
Too bright? Dull? Noisy?

and what kinda vocals are you doing? Whatever knocks on the door? Rap? Loud? Quiet?

Do you have a budget in mind, and where in the world are you?

Let us know, yeah?

I'm in Australia, my budget is $300 max and I'm recording rock vocals and guitar.
I don't know a huge amount about Mics but the Rode m3 I have at the moment does a decent job, perhaps a little dull and isn't great with acoustic guitars.
