I have a dual microphone preamp with two balanced outputs (CH.A & CH.B).

They look like standard instrument cable plugs, (what are these called anyway? 1/4"?).

I also have an audio card with sterio inputs. What do I need to connect these two channels to the audio card without constantly having to switch things around? What would it be called? I can do a search, but I don't want another expensive piece of gear.

Okay, then I need a "balanced 1/4 inch" cable that splits into sterio analog R + L inputs, and can do it for two channels.

Is there a cheap solution, and what is it called (don't say mixer).

a splitter? you can buy one at radio shack i think

"Balanced/Unbalanced (thank you notbradsohner) 1/4" phone, to RCA Adapter cable"

actually they have 1/4 to rca cables.....i have 4. bought them at the local music store.

You have the Audiophile card? Then you should need cables with male 1/4" TS (tip-sleeve) connectors on one and and male RCA connectors on the other end.
