hey guys
we want to do some home recording at fairly at good quallity so what sort of specs should a laptop be for this? also what would be a suitable sound card.
we have guitars, bass, vocals, keyboard and a really expensive rolland electric drum kit.
the main reason i am asking this is because we have a multitracker and the drum kit sounds horrible through it so we want to move over to the laptop.
we have a copy of cubase that we got with the drum kit also.
money is not a major issuse but we dont want to go over mad and buy thousands of pounds of equipment.
