What do you think of my gear? what would you change?

I know everyone has their likes on stuff but I dont know anything about this stuff . But I was hoping someone could help me out. Their are so many products out their and feel like I want to give up this is a lot of work to feel happy and when you dont know anything. here is what I have a Imac with Logic8 , two Presonus firepods ,Presonus Eureka, and Presonus acp88 and some shure mics. What would you guys change?

Nothin really bad with what you have, although I question the usefulness of the 8 channel compressor. My focus would be monitors, room treatment and more mics... :)

How different is that Eureke from the pre's built into the Firepods?
 
I was using the 8 channel compressor for the drums is that bad or a waste? The Eureke seems to have a little more fuller sound to me but not for what it cost but Iam new to all this and theirs so much different stuff. I have Fostex PM0.5 MKII Active Nearfield Studio Monitors now are these descent? Thanks
