I was just listening to Jayz's album as well as a couple other Big artist out there. What I noticed was as far as vocals it has that warmth and very full sound, full meaning no doubles no adlibs on the vocals. Whats the best way to get that warm and full sound on vocals. Thanks

A great sounding voice in a great sounding space going into a great sounding mic fed into a great sounding preamp entering a great sounding converter and then being mixed by a great mixing engineer, etc., etc., etc.

It's that simple.

Ill Try And Help

Massive Master is 100% RIGHT!!!!

But ill try and help you out!.

Jay Z has a large budget behind him to record at top facilities with top producers/engineers and their experience and equipment. BUT this equipment does not make or break Jay Z's sound of full rich warm vocals...

Its all about how you treat your vocal.

Jay Z's vocals have room presence (not all the time) this is obtained having your microphone off about 1 foot from the voice talent

Proximity effect can be used to obtain a low bassy vocal and once treated can be nice,

EQ is key in the mixing stage creating "pockets" for the vocals to sit in.
COMPRESSION will help bring up the low words etc. and turn down the louder words, helping the vocal become more "intelligible"
