Any of you guys remember the "electronic pik" that was teathered to a volume/wah pedal back in the 70's? I'm trying to find one or make one. Any info good or bad would be mucho appreciato....

Never heard of it, but it sounds cool.

I image you could use the pick to complete a circuit that charges or discharges a capacitor. The voltage across the capacitor could control a voltage controlled amplifier or a voltage controlled filter. Add a pot to adjust the time constant of the capacitor discharge and presto, a dynamic pick triggered volume swell or wah effect. Cool.

that's exactly what it does... the volume pedal can act as the pot to control how much swell. The pick is connected to the unit via a standard 1/8" tip ring cord.
