Yeah, I don't think you're going to blow the cab out. You need to push a lot more power to the cab than the V-Amp will put out.

I'm not sure about this, but I think you would need to output the Vamp to a power amp and the power amp into the cab.

ok instead of using the v-amp2 ehhhh can i power the head with my solid state Fender stage 100 amp and run it thru the extention speaker to the cab?

You could power the cab with the Stage 100. Is there a reason you want to go to the Marshall cab? Are you looking for the closed cab sound? If I recall, the Stage 100 has some nice Celestians in it.

im pretty much just wanting the Marshall cab for an up grand from my curent amp the stage 100....and plus the Marshall cab is like three hunderd bucks...i really wanna get a Mess Head and Cab but thats proablly not goign to happen because its too much saving for me lol well if theirs any cheap cab that would go great with my stage 100 that sounds like a good marshall or a decent Mesa let me know??? the type of playing i do is heavy Metal like Kill switch engage..i want a real clear distortion sound:) im on a three hunder dollar budget:( any suggestions

Those cabs.. ew. I don't like the MG series cabs. You'd be much better off with a Behringer cab, truthfully. My guitarist and I both have them. They sound awesome with our 5150s. Not as good as a JCM1960 cab, but they sound good.
