I do work and mods on tube amps in case anyone is interested. I work out of Sudbury, Ontario.

hmmm........

Sudbury, eh? How's the local music scene there? I lived there for six months but never really checked it out.....

Are you also selling amps, or just working out of your home on private projects for now?

I always thought a good way to get customers would be to go to guitar shops and try to get thier customers!! Tell them you can mod thier amp and make it better and they wouldn't have to actually buy a new amp...... worth a try.........

I have a 76' marshall jmp 50 watt master vol.
Is it possible to do a effects loop on it? I thought I could use one of the speaker outs so I wouldn't have to drill a hole in it. Just replace it with a tip, ring, sleeve for the send and return. I would use it for a reverb unit.

Yes. Lots of people offer loop kits. Torres offers one specifically for JMP series amps.

Vibroworld.com makes a drop-in board, and londonpower.com as well.

Google "effects loop kit".

In any case, it is not for the inexperienced. If you don't know, it may be better to sub the installation out to a tech.

Be careful advertising your services here. It has got others in trouble.

find a reputable local tech to do a good post phase inverter master volume. I'd be weary of the Torres kits; a friend of mine had one put in a bassman and it doesn't sound all that great now.
