Howdy everyone, this is my first posting on here and I hope someone can give me some info. I have a Strat Copy made by TOKAI that looks like a early 60's strat. It is black with a shiney gold pickguard. I haven't been able to find this exact guitar on the tokai site but did find out that by the serial number "L31410" the "L" designates that it was made in Korea. Can anyone give me any idea of approximate year of production, how many were made and possible value? I want to find out so I can include on the home owners policy. Thanks in advance and keep up the great work. this is a great forum for us music freaks and such.:)

I have a Fernandes Strat copy that is an excellent Strat-great tone & action and it sustains like crazy. I've been unable to find any good information on it either except they were sued by Fender for design infringement.
I've found sites for dating Gibsons and Epiphones, giving me the month and year and even the factory it was built in-but Fender is not very exact at all telling me it was either a 1974 or 75-(sunburst Strat w/serial# in the 500,000's).
I would also appreciate and info for the Fernandes as well.

The site below has some good stuff but not much Fernandes or Tokia..
