I'm into hip-hop peep my site www.clubhouserecords22.com
For the past year I've been really feeling the blues guitarsman.I like the sound that a guitar gives off rather its acoustic or electric.I've recently came across a old videotape of originators of the delta blues. Their was this guy name "SON HOUSE" (I wonder do any of you know about him). But I was truely amazed at how he played guitar,he'll slide his fingers up the neck of the guitar and do sumthin play sumthin really wicked. He also sang from the depths of his soul.I could see it in his delivery.I'm just wondering if theirs any blues guitar players out their thats willing to upload me some good guitar playing for listening enjoyment. It'll be deeply appreciated....:)

DUDE!

You live in Chicago and are searching for the blues???

Many of the great Delta Blues players moved to Chicago in the early part of the 20th century for reasons of industrialization and ever since the city in which you live has been a huge fixture on the overall genre's landscape.

go to Checkerboard lounge on 35th street to see it for yourself.

Some other good clubs are Chicago B.L.U.E.S. and Kingston Mines both on Halsted in Wrigleyville.

The style of chicago blues is an evolution of sorts from the Charlie Patton delta blues you're talking about but go to these places and ask about when they have old school nights....

I'm aware of that

A few times I went to a blues club on 59th & halsted. And thos bluesman were really down south guys.I loved their playing. You're right ,during the less fortunate days, alot of southerners did migrate here.Chicago is sorta like a mecca for blues (chess/alligator records).

BTW-I still wanna hear some guitar:)

You want to hear guitars? You need to get over to Buddy Guy's! He's the best Blues guitar player alive today!

buddy guy would be hard pressed to outplay johnny winter.

i've been lucky to have lived in mississippi for so many years...i have seen some of the all time great bluesmen sitting around and jammin' with their buddies....hell, indianola used to be a who's who of famous delta blues musicians.

too bad most of them are dead now...that style of blues is going to be a lost art pretty soon
