There are two Sennheiser MD-441's on ebay right now

A few people were looking the other day, well, there they are. Bid away and get the best mic you will probably ever find for under $1000.

Hey Tube, did you ever had the opportunity to try a Sennheiser MD416?

I have one, the design is a work of art. One of the nicest mics to look at.

It has a very nice sound on some vocals, much detail and it works great on cymbals and hi hat too.

I used it on trumpet with great results too.

MD 416 which is a dynamic, you know, the mic with the small globe. I coudn't find any image on Google.

Yeah, the MKH is yummy, especially the MKH80.

I've done some drumtracking with MKH-16's.
Quite nice, but also a bit jangley upper-mids.

They ARE stellar however on acoustic guitar.
I did a cover version of Vandenberg's "Burning Heart" a while ago, and recorded my Crafter GAE-36 semi-acoustic with 1 MKH and its line out (B Band system)
