Well in an attempt to get my "Studio" off of the ground last week, I ended up placing all of my amps against one wall of the room to give a bit of breathing room while I rearranged everything. When I turned around and saw what it looked like I was in shock! I can't believe I've aquired all of this gear over the years! My wife came down there and was like "You've got WAY TOO much stuff!".......I just smiled. :)

Anyway, I thought it was worth a picture....so here it is. :o :)

Haaghhhh! a tidy music room!! This is subversive, the next thing is my wife will see the pic and demand I tidy up my music room and get the rest of my gear out of the other rooms in the house.
By the way nice gear and you can never have too much. I have been looking at a third amp for gigging, it's only the fact that I am nearly 61 and get totally stuffed lugging gear that stops me (and the odd broadside from the wife).

good to hear everybody has the same problems... hehehe. Nice wall. walls are good!

you can never have to many walls!

ps. where are your guitars?

You should be proud of yourself. By the way, how do you like the sound of those Carvin amps? I'm thinking about getting a Carvin cabinet for my JCM 800 and possibly a Carvin amp to A/B for clean sounds, but I have hardly gotten a chance to test either.

thanks

You have WAY too much stuff!

I'll take it off your hands. Send me half.

Change a few names, add a set of drums and a couple of PA systems and your room will look a lot like mine. You don't realize how much stuff you've got untill you start moving it around. Keep up the good work and in no time at all you'll need a bigger room.

Guitars???....oh yeah, this is the guitar and bass forum huh? :)

OK, you asked for it...:

The guitars are in another room right behind this one......

Last year, due to circumstances beyond my control, I was forced to move from my 3 bed. Ranch w/ Full basement (My huge "Studio" at the time :) ), and into a 2 bed. Duplex.....along side the in-Laws no less! It's actually worked out pretty well considering......the shortage of space is the main issue thus far. :(

Matt - At the risk of sounding like a Carvin Sales person,...I really LOVE the Carvin amps!! I've owned Marshalls, and Boogies, but I still keep coming back to the Carvins. (Word of advice - Sell the JCM 800 and get a Legacy head! You'll never look back! :) )

Oh yeah, My Carvin V412 blows my Marshall 1960 TV w/ Greenbacks away.......But it still looks cool! (That counts for something...right? )

The wall to the left of the amps has a small PA system set up on it, ...that's where I practice playing and singing at the same time (This was very dificult for me about 20 years ago......smooth sailing now though. ;)

I also have an EarCandy Buzz Bomb 2x12 cab that's not pictured as it's in use at my church. It's loaded with Eminence Speakers, made of birch & mahogany, has extendable/retractable handle w/wheels on the bottom., and it was custome made to my specs! :D :

I used to have drums before I moved, but they had to go........no room :(

Oh well,...hopefully my monitors will be here soon, ......then I can actually start to record!!! WHooooHooo!! :)

I almost like the guitar collection as much as the amp collection,. but amps are bigger and thus better... :)
