The meat loaf is over, done.

You gotta give it to a guy who takes a not so flattering nic name and runs with it, to the top.

RIP ML

I just saw that Howard Alexander Dumble died January 18th. It was announced on his Instagram page. Apparently it wasn't worthy of the main news media.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Howard.
His work brought joy and inspiration to countless musicians and engineers.

May he Rest In Peace.

Howard Hesseman. 81.

Among many roles he played one of the hippy dudes in the film Billy Jack back in the 70's. Oh yeah, and he also played DJ Johnny Fever on the sitcom WKRP in Cincinnati.

And no, he did not used to play guitar in The Doobie Brothers.

I was surprised when I saw him on Dragnet, playing (of course) a counter culture hippie type. He was credited as "Don Sturdy".

I never got into King Crimson. Foreigner was inescapable as "Cold As Ice" was played on my car radio every 20 minutes, it seemed.

R.I.P. Ian
