stereo connections

Hi, my name is Jerry. I'm looking to connect an electric drum kit to a small samson 6 chanel mixing board. I have a good stereo system to hook it up to with a casette deck. Would anyone know the best way to hook up the mixer to the the audio system so I can record (on the casette desk), me playing along with a friend or with music? I would like to use the stereo system as my monitoring system............

figure out what type of inputs and outputs your mixer/drum module/stereo has, 1/4", rca, xlr. use cables that fit.

That's pretty much it. Find the main outputs of the mixer and the tape inputs of the stereo and get a cable that has the right ends on it.
