Sp-B1's vs MXL604 vs Rode NT5 (overheads)

Right!

Ok I actually have a pair of b1's and a pair of MXL604's but I was thinking about getting NT5's (stereo matched pair). Is there a noticable difference between those? I will probably demo them but I just wanted to see if anyone had experience with these. Money wise they are about twice as much as the others but I am wonding if the cost difference will equal sound difference. Word up.

Edit: Also does anyone have any recommendations for some decent overheads in the 300 to 400 dollar range? Thanks!

Well that is interesting. I was just reading about those. So compared to the other three mentioned these are good/better than NT5's?. I was reading that they are darker which I may like. I do find that the SP1's and the 604's can be bright. Hmmmm...
 
i havent tried the rodes

but i have a pair of 603's as well, i really like the hm-1's on drums

edit: on a side not the 603's work well on piano
