SP B1 w/ ART Tube MP

I am running CEP 2.0 and an omni studio w/ SP b1 w/ ART Tube MP.

My problem occurs infrequently.

The input of the B1 decreases by 20 or so dB for no apparent reason. I have two tube amps and it does it on both. i have phantom power on. any ideas? i checked all cables.

Try different cords, if it's not that then it's likely the mic.
