It's two digits higher so it's better, right? :D

I believe the 3005 is the all-maple shell version, which to me would be the better kit. Check the website for more info. Cheers, Rez

well, I mean, which is better for the price? i find 3003 to be aroudn $600, and 3005 to be $1,100... I dont want to destroy my wallet :-P

Take the time to check and see, because I could be wrong about this, but I believe the hardware and everything are pretty much the same...

If the ONLY difference between them is the fact that the 3003 is basswood and maple, while the 3005 is all maple - then the 3003 would be a better "bargain", while the all maple kit would be the "better" kit.

Does that make any sense?

We started using a Sonor kit in my studio, And were shocked at the quality we got from drums that cost around 800 euro. Are sonor global?, strangley ive never seen a sonor kit in a music store in Dublin, Ireland.

We've got two set here (an S-Class and a 1003). The S-class has a wider range of sounds and very flexible but the 1003 is still very nice for the price....very happy with the gear. The hardware is very nice and sturdy. Some of the nick-nacks can get a little spendy (like their double bass pedals) but their kits are a good buy.

I've got a 3003 fusion in black sparkle and absolutely love it! I've heard the 3005s sound astounding for its moderate price... but let me tell you, you cannot go wrong with a 3003. Indeed, you can get it for cheap now that the 3005s are out... but that will leave you with more cash to spend on drum add-ons or cymbals, etc. Hope this helps!

Sonor 3000 man, best value out there, all birch shells, you need to watch ebay though...
