G3-heavy weights in guitar field Steve Vai, Satriani, Eric Johnson, the swede who I can't spell the name LOL....and it goes on~ :D

Cool!

Malmsteen, Petrucci, Romeo.

Clever stuff ey. Real fun to listen to.

Whatever happened to Clapton, Beck, Page, Hendrix, Lee & to a lesser extent Townsend & a much lesser extent Blackmore?
These fellows were the GWhizz? Though Clapton was thought to be G.odd for a while.
Then Stevie Ray was the GIwish.
Which brought Eddie Van in as the Ghammer.
& of course the Gwhotevarappned2 crew of Ronson, Iommi, Bourge & Cobain.
Oh, and Andy Summers who was - for a time G fa Police.
Long forgotten were the G Spots - Berry, Diddley, Wray, Dale, Holly, Cochrane, Moore, King, Waters & Johnson.
& then we get to the G3 where G stands for guitar growth on gonads.
C'mon everybody, surely the world has moved on from the worship of style over substance, feckless fretting & speed king splendour. even the clip from cross roads is only mildly diverting - take away the visuals & you're left with what MTV is with the picture tube on the blink.
Cheers
& YES I do LOVE ELECTRICITY GUITARZ

Amen, rayc, open a church and I'll be the first of your flock :D

Ahh, it's OK

He plays great, but I grow bored with that Via, Satriani, Malmsteen repetetive scale run stuff. To me there is no emotion in that music at all. In fact, most of the time there aren't any words!!

Couldn't have said it better. Amazing, quick, talented....and boring. :(

I liked that one song, Isabella, a lot, until he starts going into the faster part. But for the first half its wonderful.
