I was wondering if a usbport can be a cause of latency? Because i'm going to buy 2 midicontrollers but since almost almost all my midiports are being used i'll probably have to use a usbport or a 2x2 midi interface.
The 2 controllers are a maudio axiom and a roland HD1. The axiom works with bus powered usb and the HD1 doesn't (i guess). So i can either connect them both trough a 2x2 midi interface but then i have to use an external power supply which sucks or i can use a midiport and reorganise all my connected devices.
I have a 2,4GHz iMac, 4GB RAM, 320GB.
