Shure sm58, good deal?

Hello,

I ran into someone who is trying to sell his 6 months old 58 for $35, and I thought I could use an extra flavor to my tinny mic collection.

Is it a good deal? I've heard that 58s can actually sound nice on acoustic guitars. Another other applications it's good at?

btw, the mics I have right now are AT4041, and a C1.

if its in good,working condition, that price is a steal and Id jump on it...the 58 is a good all-around mic to have around....id rather a 57, but for $35, i wouldnt pass it up....

Get it. They go for 65-100 bucks on ebay all the time. More towards 100 too.

The Shure Sm-57 and Sm-58s are classic jack-of-all trades dynamic mics.
