my studio at home is pretty cool, but that acoustic insulation that they sell all over the place online is SO EXPENSIVE! it'd cost 100 dollars or more to cover all the walls in my studio (even just the recording area)! how important is it to have foam or something else on the walls, and could i get away without using it? i have the drumset set up in a corner, and blankets surrounding the sides that aren't surrounded by walls, so it's pretty closed in.

I am just waiting until I deside if I am going to Mexico this summer. If I do, I will just buy a bunch of cheap-ass-cool-as-fuck-rugs.

hahaa, nice dude :D i think that's what i'm gonna do. head to joanne fabrics or something and just buy an assload of foam. not specifically acoustic foam, but i think it should do the trick, or at least help...
