Roland Juno D

Its pretty sad that Roland had to scrape the bottom of the barrel like that and use the "Juno" name with such a crappy product.

The Juno D is nothing more than a repackaged RS50 - hardly something worthy of being named after such a classic line of synths from the 80's.

RS 50 claims to be a playing synth, and forget about MIDI according to http://www.rolandus.com/products/details.asp?catid=8&subcatid=36&prodid=RS-50

Huh? Do you even know what you're talking about? All Roland synths built in the last 5-10 years are fully MIDI capable and have onboard GM sound banks

The Juno D claim is that it is a midi capable synth. GM2.
What I read into it, is that you could play midi's very well, and have a performance synth, too. No need to have a synth module for midi.

What does having a separate synth module have to do with anything?

The Juno D is not in the Roland site, from what I can tell

For the record, even a used XP30 would be better than this piece of crap. At least the XP30 had expansion capabilities in the form of SR-JV expansion boards.
