Pulleeze - it has nothing to do with being aligned to either party - I think the Democrats wanted to give Conservative Republicans a anti Woman stance - and they did.
Nobody cares whether Roe vs Wade is flawed or not - the perception is if you're for Roe you are pro woman.
 
The purpose of the leak was to count. Keep the party loyal and see if female conservatives will jump ship come vote time. 70% of Americans want Roe vs Wade, so it isn't a Conservative thing. The leak is a census to see how much trouble the Democrats are in. There is no 2 party system in the SCOTUS so words like conservative and liberal are made up to apply to the highest level of law. Those are controlling factors. So really it's like the Feds are telling the states; you can decide and prosecute thusly. But really the whole Roe vs Wade overturn only favors the Latin Christian population. That is the problem with it. Obvious federal favoritism agenda stuff going on.
 
With something like 50 different ways of contraception available, why is abortion still necessary except for rape or incest?
Just give every woman in the country an ample supply of morning after pills (and every fertile male, too... since they can now get pregnant, according to the wacko left).

"The perception" is that a dispositive factor in being "pro-woman" is not allowing voters a voice in an issue they think is important?
