Rode NT2 Discontinued?

Considering the differences in circuit design between the two mics, I would imagine there would be differences in their individual sound. And even if they had identical circuitry, we still have no way of knowing what differences there are in the capsules.

Rode are trying to keep the lid on any info re the new mics..........I guess they will tell the world when they are good and ready.

Thanks Aus, but components, capsules, whatever - I'd still like to hear from anyone who has directly compared the sound of the NT2 and B2.
