A B3 is a B1 with extra patterns. Why can't I suggest a B1 for a budget conscious home recordist without it being funny?

First..... how do you know if the B1 and B3 sound the same when the B3 is in the cardioid pattern when you don't even own a B1?

Second..... the B1 and B3 don't sound the same.

Third....... I think it's funny that your recommending a mic that you've neither heard or own.

Just a RAWK MIC! ROCK! ROCK! RCOK! ROCKO! And I will settle for 10% drunk party girl sex!

Right on applesmasher........ ROCK ROCK ROCK.

swing it

1. double over mic chords and duct tape them to sm57 and B1

2. swing mics rapidly over head in a large arc

3. oops slip and watch both mics fly through grille of bass cab destroying 15" driver and causing a shower of sparks.

4. pick up each mic and try to belt out that last chorus

LONG LIVE ROCK!

;)
