have just spent 4 hours working on a tune, saving regularly. When I finished I exported the track to a .WAV file, then the sequencer unexpectedly quit.
The .WAV file was blank, when I tried to reload the project file I got the message 'not a valid cakewalk file'.
I find this somewhat frustrating, as the file is there and contains all the information, but some tiny part of it is corrupt. Is there anyway to retrieve it (like in a hex editor).
The project was all done with MIDI, and didn't contain any audio, and I've tried opening it in safe mode to no avail.
Any ideas?
